Presentation May 10th – “Idiom Speech” feedback

Some really good speeches yesterday. I was impressed with the amount of information and research that you gave us in such a short space of time. However, there are some things that I think we can still “tighten up”.

First, use “as you can see…” when you are introducing a point/image.

Next, look at the audience more, not the screen. There was a lot of this.

Third, I thought that when you gave a Korean explanation on the screen this really helped. However, tell the audience this more directly.

Furthermore, if you show us a quotation, for example, please explain what it is there for? Why is it relevant and so on?

Finally, think about your delivery. Is it too fast or too slow? Ask yourself – “did I prepare enough?”
